CMO official update history

Since its initial 2019 release, Command: Modern Operations has enjoyed a series of significant free updates provided by its dedicated development team. In order of release, the main ones are:

v1.01 (January 23, 2020)

v1.02 (October 15, 2020)

v1.03 (May 5, 2021)

  • Major improvements to sonar model.
  • Select IRST/FLIR systems can now produce AAW fire control-grade data, allowing EMCON-silent engagements with AMRAAM-class weapons
  • Visual and IR sensors are now also susceptible to look-down clutter
  • Datalink + TARH AAW missiles (e.g. AMRAAM, SM-6 etc.) can now go active without immediately going autonomous
  • Various improvements in ballistic missile & BMD modeling,
  • Numerous smaller changes and quality-of-life additions

 

v1.04 (October 20, 2021)

  • New DB-viewer page dedicated to sensors
  • DB-viewer improvement: Dynamic display of per-loadout RCS signatures
  • Sub-type filter added to the DB-viewer
  • New map option for automatically filtering-out contacts based on posture
  • “Red-X” (Direct-X device context loss) issue during resume from sleep/hibernation/screenlock fixed
