In 1947, a small border dispute between Peru and Chile prompts a large naval show of force.

Greetings, Admiral

Situation:

A dispute between Peruvian and Chilean fisherman has broken out, and this has led to limited border warfare with over a dozen killed on both sides as of this writing. Peru is beginning a larger buildup of forces, and the decision has been made to destroy one encampment using our much more powerful navy.

Enemy Forces: Enemy forces at the encampment consist of one artillery battery and an unknown, yet at least battalion-sized quantity of troops. Several smaller Peruvian vessels have been spotted in the area, to prevent saboteurs from landing.

Friendly forces:

The task force consists of the battleship Almirante Latorre and three destroyers.

Mission:

Destroy the encampment and any Peruvian vessels near it.

Execution:

Fire at will.

Command and Signal:

Command: Almirante Latorre

Signal: EMCON State C (Unrestricted Emissions)
