Soviet vs. NATO

Date: April 10th, 1986

Location: Approaches to Halifax, Canada

Playable Sides: Soviet

The Politburó has decided to take preemptive action before NATO can assemble their forces in American and Canadian harbours in preparation to the start of hostilities. Part of the plan involves gaining time through bottling NATO transport assets at their ports.

The gained time must be used to fully deploy the Soviet submarine forces in the north Atlantic to intercept the expected NATO convoys.

Part of those operations are the insertion of small special forces for sabotage and point mining operations at these areas by SSK and other stealth and clandestine units.
